Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of developing the research activity of future teachers in higher education institutions. It examines the role of scientific research activity in pedagogical education, its impact on the professional development of future teachers, and the mechanisms for forming students’ research competence. In addition, innovative educational technologies that contribute to the development of students’ scientific activity in higher education institutions are analyzed.
