Abstract
The article examines the role of educational games in teaching English. Psycholinguistic and pedagogical foundations of game-based learning are analyzed, and a practical experiment involving middle school students is presented. The results show that the use of educational games increases motivation, engagement, and overall language acquisition efficiency. Practical recommendations for integrating games into traditional teaching systems are provided.
