POLITICAL INTERACTION BETWEEN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ASIAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
This article analyzes the political relations of the United Kingdom with Asian countries. In the post-Brexit era, the country’s foreign policy has shifted towards new directions, positioning Asia as a priority region. The study highlights the UK's political engagement with China, India, Pakistan, and Southeast Asian nations, as well as its multilateral cooperation formats (AUKUS, ASEAN) and strategic approaches rooted in postcolonial legacy. The article is based on qualitative analysis and case study methodology, revealing the UK's political stance, interests, and geopolitical objectives in the region.
