Abstract
This article discusses the correct use of syntactic and lexical units in oral speech. In particular, oral speech plays an important role in every sphere of human life: in study, work, labor, official meetings, social communication and everyday conversations. The cultural level, breadth of thinking and aesthetic taste of any nation are reflected, first of all, in its speech culture. Therefore, it is highlighted that the purity, accuracy and expressiveness of oral speech are one of the issues being studied separately in modern linguistics.
