Abstract
This scientific article analyzes the fundamental importance of modern literary education in shaping the student's personality, enriching their inner world, and developing a system of humanistic values. The article demonstrates the enhancement of students' life skills, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making abilities through the analysis of literary works. Furthermore, the content of textbooks and the role of the teacher in creating the student's personal development trajectory are thoroughly examined. The article substantiates the limitations of past literature textbooks and the necessity of improving them based on contemporary demands. The research emphasizes that modern literary education, beyond academic knowledge, aims to foster creativity, social responsibility, and deep values in students.
