Abstract
This article explores the expression of the concept of gratitude within the linguistic worldview across different cultures, focusing particularly on English, Russian, and Uzbek languages.
Using a comparative linguistic and cultural approach, the study identifies universal and culturally specific features in the verbalization of gratitude. The research highlights how linguistic expressions of gratitude reflect social values, politeness norms, and cultural traditions. Data was collected from literary texts, spoken discourse, and idiomatic expressions to analyze the pragmalinguistic and cultural dimensions of gratitude.
