Abstract
This article examines the multifaceted importance of phraseologisms in children's linguistic, cognitive, and emotional development. Phraseologisms, as fixed expressions with figurative meanings, play a pivotal role in language acquisition, logical thinking, and fostering aesthetic and emotional sensitivity. Through a qualitative analysis of educational practices, literature reviews, and classroom observations, the study explores how phraseologisms enhance vocabulary, stimulate critical thinking, and enrich children’s emotional and cultural awareness. The findings underscore the need for integrating phraseologisms into language teaching curricula to support holistic child development. Diagrams and tables are included to illustrate the impact and practical applications of phraseologisms in educational settings.
