Abstract
In modern language education, striking a balance between fostering learner autonomy and maintaining effective classroom discipline is vital for student-centered learning. This paper explores the importance of balancing teacher talking time (TTT) and student talking time (STT), while integrating grammar, vocabulary, and functional language to enhance communicative competence. The article draws from theoretical frameworks, practical strategies, and a case study to demonstrate how educators can effectively manage classroom dynamics, ensure linguistic development, and promote learner engagement. Practical recommendations are provided to guide teachers in creating responsive, balanced, and effective language learning environments.
