Abstract

This article is dedicated to analyzing passive grammatical structures in the German language, comparing them with passive constructions in the Uzbek language to highlight both similarities and differences. The semantic-syntactic and pragmatic characteristics of passive forms in the German language are examined, as well as the grammatical structure of the passive in the Uzbek language. Issues related to the grammatical category of the subject-object relationship and the ambiguity in understanding passive constructions are also discussed. The study provides a comprehensive understanding of how passive constructions are structured and used in both the German and Uzbek languages. This article can serve as a valuable resource for linguists and researchers in the field of linguistics.
