Abstract

The exigencies of the automobile industry are constant pressure to increase revenues while providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction. A critical strategy to increasing sales within the industry, is upselling, a sales technique where you encourage customers to buy higher end or additional products. This article applies its craft of studying literature relevant to the automotive sector as an industry model in the consumer service to solve the problem of the effectiveness of upselling techniques on sales profitability. It emphasizes on product knowledge, customer relationship management, systematic and digital tools and individual approaches. It helps us gain a better understanding of how the automotive industry can use upselling as a means for sustainable growth.
